Through ArtistsInspire Grants filmmaker Stefan Verna worked with the kids at Honoré Mercier Elementary School to film and create a concept video for the national CBC Music class challenge! They placed 10th among over 1000 schools! The students performed Arcade Fire’s “Reflektor”, singing and playing all the instruments.
It’s amazing what kids can do with a little help from our artists. The video made it to the top 10 in the competition! The kids loved working with Stefan and got to experience how a piece of art can be created collaboratively.
