A new, easier way to book is coming soon!

We’ve updated our booking process to make it even easier to connect with artists. Soon, you’ll be able to book an artist or workshop directly from their catalogue page.

After your workshop or event, a feedback form will be sent to your inbox. Be sure to fill it out so we can pay the artists for their wonderful work! You can also share any photos or media from your experience by replying to that same email.

CONNECT WITH ARTISTS

Contact us to explore your interests and get recommendations on artists who would connect well with your needs.

ELAN’s ArtEd Team would love to speak with you about how connecting with the Arts & Artists can make a difference for children, families and communities!

Please note that our team currently operates on a part-time basis. While we are fully committed to supporting your project, we ask that you anticipate a response time of 7–10 working days for all general inquiries. If your project is highly time-sensitive to these parameters, please contact us directly via email so we can assess the feasibility of your application.

Our New Simplified Process

#ArtistsInspire Grants: Your Guide to Our New Process

We’ve streamlined our grant process to make it easier than ever for schools and artists to connect, collaborate, and bring creative projects to life. Our new online platform centralizes everything you need, from finding the perfect artist to submitting your grant application and getting paid.

Read below to find out how it works for you.

CONNECT

Book an artist or workshop directly from their artist profile or catalogue page.

Start your journey in our updated Artist Catalogue. Our new filtering system lets you search by discipline, age group, themes, and more. Once you find the perfect match, contact the artist directly through their profile to begin planning your workshop or event.

COLLABORATE

Communicate with the artist for all final details.

After collaborating with an artist, you’re ready to apply for your grant. Go back to the Artists' Profile page and click on the Apply button below their profile picture. This will add the artists' the information we need to process your grant, from project details to the grant option you’ve chosen.

CREATE

Create amazing artistic, heritage or cultural works with the:

  1. School Grants for workshops
  2. Optional One Day Event

Create works of Art from all disciplines.

  • School Grants workshops: Artists will work with at least 2 classes in a school. Each class will have at least 2 separate workshop sessions lasting about one hour each with the Artist. Plan for 6 to 10 hours of live workshop sessions over at least 2 days.
  • One Day Event to your School Grant for a minimum of 3 days of creative experiences. One Day Events must take place on a different day than the School Workshops.
CELEBRATE

After your workshop or event, you’ll receive a feedback form. Fill it out so we can pay the artists!

Celebrate the final outcome with your class, the school community or the community at large. This includes the comments, feedback and media on the feedback form that goes out to our partners and members!

Connect with Artists

ELAN’s ArtEd Team would love to speak with you about how connecting with the Arts & Artists can make a difference for children, families and communities!

“Our Cycle 3 students had the privilege of having artist, Mary Williamson work with them to brainstorm ideas for their upcoming storytelling festival. Her strategies were a fantastic stepping stone that allowed the students to begin their own stories with more comfort and confidence.”
