ELAN Artist Kerwin Barrington worked with Pierre Elliot Trudeau Elementary School to give students an introduction to dance and movement! Students learned participated in activities that allowed them to get out of their heads and be more present in their bodies. All the students gave feedback on how much they loved the class.

Kerwin is a dance artist who works as a choreographer and teacher.  She is passionate about building culture and tradition through dance in community, and studies the Axis Syllabus, recently becoming a teachers candidate

Pierre Elliot Trudeau School’s ArtistsInspire Grant experience was made possible by an ELAN Quebec/LEARN partnership for students from Quebec’s English-speaking communities to participate in arts and culture experiences, thanks in part to funding from Heritage Canada through the Government of Canada.
